President Donald Trump said Russia has lost control of parts of its diesel oil industry as a result of its ongoing war with Ukraine, pointing to damage to what he described as a large number of diesel refineries. Trump said the facilities are, at least temporarily, out of commission, and argued that the consequences of the conflict are extending beyond the battlefield.
In the post, Trump called the war “ridiculous and never ending” and said it “must be ended,” while claiming that 25,000 people, mostly soldiers, are being killed each month. He described the toll of the conflict as a global concern, writing, “The whole World suffers,” before concluding, “What a shame!”
